Quality System Management

ECL’s quality management system is compliant with ISO 9001:2015 and we have maintained our Quality System Management Certification since 1996. We are constantly working to make sure we not only meet the requirements of this compliance, but we exceed those requirements. Our QA team is equipped with state-of-the-art quality inspection devices that are consistently calibrated and maintained to ensure accuracy throughout their lives.


ECL has decades of experience with PPAP, IPQP, and other forms of statistical process capability analyses.
We work closely with our customers to ensure that our quality inspection standards meet even the most stringent of their requirements.

Our In-House Quality Lab is staffed 24/7 and has a wide range of capabilities, including:

  • Dimensional checks (using micrometers, verniers, plunges, gages)
  • Conductivity checks (Fischer SMP tester)
  • Hardness checks (Durajet 5 Struers and Ditgital Clark Hardness Tester, Mitutoyo Micro Hardness Tester with Knoop’s MVK-HI)
  • Ag layer thickness (Kocour 6000 and microscopic views at 100x)
  • Structure checks (in process with microscope, Keyence VHX-5000 Microscope 20x, up to 2500x pictures)
  • Optiv Classic 433 CMM (measurements on larger parts, Ag thickness in process) Serration Heights
  • Citopress-5 / Struers LaboForce-100 (mounting parts and polishing for analysis)
  • Mitutoyo SJ400 Surface Roughness Tester
  • .5" Digital Height Indicator
  • Torque Testing
  • Ohaus Scales for weight and density
